Accounting Executive (AR/AP) NL

For our head office in Lijnden (Amsterdam area) we are looking for an all-round accounting executive (AR/AP) to strengthen our team. You will be part of a dynamic group of seven colleagues, working together in the finance department.

Responsibilities

  • Entering and validating data in financial administration
  • Processing and making corrections on booked invoices
  • Processing and booking of bank and credit card statements/transactions
  • Weekly and monthly checkup tasks following standard procedures
  • Offer operational support to optimize financial processes
  • Support month-end and year-end closing for several entities
  • Processing (e)mail and performing other assigned tasks and duties
  • Supporting activities for the Financial Controller
  • Credit Control, monitor incoming payments from debtors

  Responsibilities

Job requirements

  • Available for 40 hours a week
  • More than 2 years of experience in a financial department is required
  • Familiarity with accounting software Exact Globe
  • Advanced level in MS Excel (making reports by using Functions, Pivot table etc.)
  • BSc degree or MBO in Finance, Accounting or Business administration (any accounting certificate or accounting and financial work experience)
  • Proactive, accurate and result-driven attitude
  • Excellent communicator and strong analytical skills
  • Located in the Netherlands / valid work permit
  • You are fluent in English, both verbal and written
