Lijnden, 28 June 2017 – It is TDA’s (Touchdown Aviation, est. in 1982) birthday, the company that sells used Boeing and Airbus aircraft parts, among others, from the Haarlemmermeer.
The family business that has experienced explosive growth over the years threw a party on Friday, 23 June in honour of its 35th birthday for all TDA’s customers, business contacts, employees, friends, and family.
Especially for this occasion, the impressive atrium of the office was transformed into a luxury club, showcasing live performances, where the international ensemble toasted to both the past and future years.
The publication of the book “Turbulent Times & Clear Skies” was the main focus of the evening. The book tells the story of the founder of TDA, Nazie El Masry, and how the company has grown into an internationally operating organization in 35 years with offices in London, Miami, Singapore, and a head office at the Airport Business Park Lijnden, just outside Schiphol Airport.
The book “Turbulent Times & Clear Skies” is available from Amazon.
It was great to celebrate the 35th anniversary of TDA together with family, friends, and colleagues. Here’s to our 40th year!
Nazie El Masry, CEO & Founder of TDA
It’s unbelievable what my father has achieved in the last 35 years. I am therefore very proud that we can continue his life’s work.
Julian Marcus, Vice President of TDA & Nazie El Masry’s son
About TDA
TDA focuses on “Teardown projects”, i.e. the purchase and dismantling of complete aircraft, to then sell the parts after extensive testing and/or repair. The family business, which has been active in the aviation industry for 35 years from the Haarlemmermeer, has big plans to significantly increase the number of Teardowns on an annual basis with the 2nd generation at the helm.
